Helping Santa Find His Way to Rudolf

Santa is running late with delivering gifts. He doesn’t manage stress quite well. Can you help him find his way to Rudolf

Steps:

Did you know that Santa is from Finland and his native language is Finnish? Of course, he has learned other languages over the years from traveling around the world and meeting wonderful kids like you. But remember, Santa is in a real hurry right now, and he often mixes up the lefts and the rights when he is stressed. So, write down your instructions something like this:

•  Follow white arrow

•  Follow black arrow

•  Exit maze

The instructions that you give to Santa through this activity is a simple form of coding.

Computer coding is simply giving a computer a set of instructions to follow. However, these instructions must follow specific rules and use a language that is a bit different from English.

You can now consider yourself as a programmer as you know the basics of coding and you have written a code to help Santa get out of the maze.

To make it even more challenging, use a complex maze with color markers added at the junctures to help Santa decide his way out.
